A simple way you can support Baystate Health’s mission, to improve the health of the people in our communities every day, with quality and compassion, is to name Baystate Health Foundation as a percentage beneficiary of your:

  • Retirement plans, such as an IRA, 401(k), 403(b), etc.
  • Bank and brokerage accounts, or
  • Paid-up life insurance policy

Beneficiary designations allow you to specify the individuals and charities you want to support. You can also specify the percentage you want each beneficiary to receive. It’s literally as easy as filling out a form.

Your gift avoids income and estate taxes. You may control the disposition of these assets without changing your will or living trust. You can obtain a “change of beneficiary form” by calling or visiting the website of your insurer or retirement plan administrator. The form takes just a few minutes to complete, yet your gift will provide health and healing for generations to come.  You will make a real difference.
